Inspired by Yoga\, Pilates and functional movement practices\, this is the perfect class to help maintain (or even build) flexibility; gain confidence in standing balance; maintain muscle mass; support bone health; and\, have fun and connect with other community members! DESCRIPTION:Join us under the stars at the spa! On Lounge Nights we turn up the tunes\, socialize with friends\, hang out in the pool\, relax in the hot tub\, meditate by the fire and melt the stress away in the sauna. You will have access to the pool\, hot tub\, sauna\, cold plunge\, relaxation lounges\, fire pit\, salt scrub\, showers and locker room. Bring your bathing suit & we’ll provide the robe\, towel\, water and tea.  Beverages and light snacks can be purchased.  Please be respectful of our alcohol-free environment. The atmosphere has a chill vibe and the intention is to connect & relax\, enjoying the night. \nPlease note that during the cool season (Thanksgiving – Mother’s Day) the pool is closed and capacity is reduced. \nRegistration is required.

SUMMARY:Qi Gong
DESCRIPTION:Qigong\, one of the branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine\, is a movement practice that can help us to cultivate our energy\, learn to protect it\, and how to use it responsibly as we walk through the world.  \nEach week\, our Qigong practice will focus on helping us clear away old stories and patterns that may be stored in our bodies\, and loosening the grip they may have on us. We will also focus on how to set energetic boundaries around us so that we may be more present\, energetic\, and engaged with the world around us. You will learn energy hygiene practices and embodiment practices that you can take home with you to benefit your overall vitality and longevity.  \nAs an intention-based movement practice\, Qigong feels like a meditation in motion. The postures and movements are appropriate for various levels of ability and can be done seated or standing. It’s a beautiful exercise that can bring us into our bodies without force\, and is an excellent option for those who would like to meditate in a different setting than a seated practice. \nWear flowing and comfortable clothing that is ready for movement.
