Creativity is so ancient that it is at once fundamental and complex, even a driving force in our lives. Shamanism brings a fresh approach to Westerners for cultivating their creative potential. In this workshop, based on years of research, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their creativity through the practice of shamanic methods. Selected historical and anthropological examples will illustrate connections between shamanism and creative abilities, and a variety of specific shamanic exercises will be taught that participants can apply to their personal lives.

Prerequisite

  • Completion of The Way of the Shaman® in-person

OR

  • All three of the following FSS online workshops:
    • The Shamanic Journey: Pathway to Knowledge and Power™
    • Shamanic Divination in Practice™
    • Shamanism, Spirits, and Healing™

What to Bring

  • Rattle and/or drum
  • Notebook and pen for note-taking
  • Blindfold, eye covering, bandana, or Mindfold®
  • Comfortable clothing and warm socks
  • Blanket and/or cushion (optional)
  • Packed lunch (optional) 

What to Expect

  • All FSS workshops and training programs are experiential, interactive, and participatory. They feature instruction and practice with shamanic methodologies, as well as journeywork, shamanic drumming, group sharing, and small group discussions.
