Foundations in Mindfulness Based Meditation Class:

Practicing mindfulness can serve as a valuable antidote to the stress many people experience in juggling the competing demands common during daily life. When left unchecked, stress can lead to fatigue, burnout and health issues. Mindfulness is a science based fundamental aspect of human self-care rooted in ancient wisdom traditions around the globe. When you are aware of how you feel and what you need, you not only experience a greater sense of mental and physical well-being, but you can also better meet the needs and demands in each present moment of life. In this class, participants will learn about the neuroscience of mindfulness, the benefits, the challenges, misconceptions, and how to cultivate their own practice.
