| $20Qigong, one of the branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a movement practice that can help us to cultivate our energy, learn to protect it, and how to use it responsibly as we walk through the world.
Each week, our Qigong practice will focus on helping us clear away old stories and patterns that may be stored in our bodies, and loosening the grip they may have on us. We will also focus on how to set energetic boundaries around us so that we may be more present, energetic, and engaged with the world around us. You will learn energy hygiene practices and embodiment practices that you can take home with you to benefit your overall vitality and longevity.
As an intention-based movement practice, Qigong feels like a meditation in motion. The postures and movements are appropriate for various levels of ability and can be done seated or standing. It’s a beautiful exercise that can bring us into our bodies without force, and is an excellent option for those who would like to meditate in a different setting than a seated practice.
Wear flowing and comfortable clothing that is ready for movement.
